Supplement to the Supplement: just discovered it doesn't like apostrophes either, so enter father, not father's, as in Father's Day! I'm still waiting for a reply from the software engineer!
Supplement to notice below: Couldn't bring myself to do it with 'God', but I've begun to avoid using upper case letters for the time being: anything new will be, for example, father's day, or 19th june 2016. I tried it for george whitefield, and it works! (by the way, for Going With God, just enter going with - what interesting times we live in!!)
More on the search engine! It's bizarre - enter 'George' and you get nothing: enter 'eorge' and you get all the Georges. Enter '29th May 2016' and you get nothing: enter '2016' and you get all the 2016's; enter '29th' and you get all the 29ths. So, you can get where you want to go, albeit by going 'round the Wrekin.' I've emailed the software engineer, and I'm waiting for a reply. I can only apologise for the inconvenience!
For some reason, the search engine is not responding to searches for the most recent files. Please go to the Catalogue page until this is, I hope, sorted out! Thank you.
20th September 2015: instructions for those using Android tablets or smartphones.
To download a sermon file, touch the filename under Download and it should open in a new window. Hold your finger on the digits showing the time (should be 0:00) for several seconds and you should be invited to Save video . Touch Save video and the MP3 file (ie not a video) should download to your device.
(This may also work for Windows tablets & smartphones - it does not work for Apple: working on this!!)
1st March 2015: Have just realised that putting verse numbers in superscript confuses the search engine. Eventually I'll try and get round to altering them, and in future I'll use a dot (eg: 6.8-10). If you search by chapter and verse numbers and you can't find, say, 68-10, try entering 68-10. Sorry about this!
There was a serious problem recording the evening sermon on 7th December 2014. Some steps have been taken to render it audible, but the quality is very poor, and it is not at all easy listening.
Unfortunately both sermons for 19th October 2014 are unavailable.
